Sunday - A Gloriious Day at Church

My pastor spoke on God will not give you more than you can bear - 1 Chorinthians vs 13.Wonderful sermon in which it talks about temptation, got a lot from the sermon today.

Food Choices - Breakfast Rice Cake (1pt) and a Orange (0)
Snack - Graham Crakers (4) and fudge bar (1pt)
Lunch - Peanut and Jelly sandwich (peanut butter (natural) 2 pts), jelly (1) and bread (2 pts)
Snack -Chips and Salsa (6 - chips, salsa -0)
Dinner - Stuffed Bell Pepper(Hamburger -2 pts, bell pepper 0, onion - 0, fat free Pasta sauce - 1)
              Corn - (2) and jello - (1).
Snack - Fudge bar (1),Cheese (4).

Busy day at work

Sorry, late post,this was Friday"s post.

I had to eat on the run this morning, I was 8 mins late.  I had a rice cake (1pt) and a orange (0)
Snack - natural almonds (half the pack almonds and peanuts) (4pts), one piece of caramel (1)
Lunch - Progresso Light Chicken and Noodle Soup (2) and sugar free jello (0)
Snack - Graham Crackers (3pts), Dried Cranberry (1) and Orange (0)
Dinner WW meal (4pts), apple (0)
Snack - Fudge bar (1), popcorn (1) and Cheese and deli turkey (5)
Total food value today is - 23

Saturday Very busy

The day was very unnerving.  On my way to choir Rehearsal, a shooting occurred at 39th Prospect.  To say the least, I was beyond scared but blessed all at the same time, God spared me by not allowing me to be in the midst of the gunfire.  I pray for those that were hurt and possibly killed that day.  Glory to God.
I had to share this because it was apart of my day.
I feel good about my food choices and I called my friend the TFD, to make sure that I was on track with choosing Panda Express Kun Po Chicken and Mixed Vegs (8 pts).
Breakfast - Oatmeal (2 pts) and a orange  (0 pts) milk (3)
Dinner - Bread 1 slice (1 pts), Deli Turkey (1), mustard (0) and a orange (0)
snack Graham Crackers (4), Cheese 2% cheddar (2pts).
exercise was added today (13points) and a Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (4pts)
So I used a total of 26 points - food value
and worked off 13 pts for intense exercising.
My allowanceis 34.

First Day on Weight Watchers

Ok, so far so good. I have 34 pts to use for my daily allowance.
I started the morning with Oatmeal (2pts), 3ozs of fat free milk (1pt) and a orange (0pt) for breakfast.

My snack was a White Cheddar Rice Cake (1pt) and sugar free jello (0).

Lunch: Shrimp (1pt) lettuce (0) fat free Catlina Dressing (2) apple (0) and Dry Roasted Peanuts (4).

Mid day snack: yogurt(2)

Dinner: Weight Watcher meal: Chicken Oriental with rice (4) Orange (0) Salad (0) Catalina Dressing (2)

Desert: Weight Watcher fudge bar (2)

So, I had my protein X
Two dairy products - X
Vegetables - X
Fruits - X
Snacks - X
Oil (from peanuts) - X
Desert - X
Total points: 21
So if I get hungry I can eat Healthy pop Kettle corn (94.7%) - (1)

I thank God for giving me the strength to endure the day.  I am trusting him to guide me through the next faze of my life.

The last day of the cleanse

This is my last day on my cleanse, I am looking for at least 7lbs off (hopefully more).  So Thursday will be the start of a new me.  I will start the morning with Oatmeal and a apple, my am snack will be a rice cake.  I will probably have a salad with shrimp for lunch.  My afternoon snack will be jello and for Dinner I plan on eating a WW meal and have a orange. My desert for that evening will be a sugar free fudge sickle.  So that's the plan.

Second Day of Cleanse

This is my second day of my cleanse, so far no downfalls.  I will start the Weight Watchers program on Thursday.  My only problem with WW is that knowing what to eat.  I tend to eat a lot of carbs and snacks when I diet.  So, if anyone has any suggestions on how to balance my meals on WW please let me know.
